From Greensboro to Stoneville: Acclaim FCU Expands to Uplift More Lives in 2026

Greensboro, NC – July 23, 2025 – Acclaim Federal Credit Union is excited to announce the upcoming opening of a new branch in the charming downtown area of Stoneville, NC. This expansion underscores our commitment to financial empowerment and community-first service.

The new branch, located in the historic Fidelity Building, is being restored with a $200,000 grant from the North Carolina Department of Commerce. This project is a collaboration between Acclaim FCU and the Town of Stoneville, with support from state and local leaders.

Ahead of this announcement, Acclaim conducted a community survey to understand the needs of Stoneville residents. The feedback was clear: residents want accessible, trustworthy financial services and a credit union that feels like part of the neighborhood.

Acclaim now serves individuals in Rockingham, Guilford, and Randolph Counties. This project was made possible with the support of Senator Phil Berger, Representative Reece Pyrtle, and Mrs. Leigh Cockram, Director of Economic Development and Tourism for Rockingham County.

Our Stoneville branch will offer a full suite of services, including savings and checking accounts, loans, credit cards, insurance, investment services, and digital banking tools. We look forward to welcoming members to our new location in early 2026. Details about the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be shared at a later date.
